Abbie Harris wins the marketing category for her impressive achievements since joining Renault in 2019. Following an industrial placement at the French company during her business degree at Exeter University, she progressed through sales performance and product management roles before taking up her current position. Her comprehensive approach coordinates every aspect of vehicle launches, from PR and sales to training and financial services. She spearheaded the launch of the all-new Scenic E-Tech, achieving the second-highest global order numbers outside of France, and moved on to new Renault 5 EV, where she persuaded around 800 customers to put down £150 to pre-order through the innovative R Pass system. "What sets her apart is her passion, her attention to detail and drive to lace every aspect of the launch with fun," said Lewis Beale, head of product marketing. He also highlighted Harris’s ability to work effectively in the UK and Paris at operational and executive levels.

Heather Fitch, McLaren Automotive

In a pivotal role, Heather Fitch has distinguished herself while managing the prestigious W1 project, coordinating across all departments and seniority levels to ensure seamless project execution. Before her current position, she excelled as product manager for McLaren Special Operations, where she was involved in developing bespoke options across multiple models and creating launch show cars for the Artura and 765LT. Her exceptional leadership navigated the W1 project, which included challenging targets and three different design directors, through to its launch without any delays. "Heather has been central to this and managed this so well," according to her manager, who believes Fitch has demonstrated capabilities beyond her current role and will continue making significant contributions to McLaren's future.

Elena Vasciminno, Leapmotor International

From Fiat graduate to leading a brand launch in just four years, Elena Vasciminno has seen a rapid career rise. The Italian-born executive, who holds a degree in international management from the University of Siena, began her UK automotive journey in 2020 as a Fiat marketing graduate before advancing to product manager for the Fiat 500 models. Her stellar performance earned her recognition in Stellantis's emerging talent programme before her promotion to establish Leapmotor's entire UK marketing strategy from scratch in December 2024. Vasciminno’s innovative product approach – focused on simplified high-specification offerings – has already impressed dealers and journalists alike. “Elena has been instrumental in launching Leapmotor in the UK,” said Damien Dally, Leapmotor brand director, who also highlighted her talent for creating resonant British-market strategies.

Lesha Summers, Horiba MIRA

Lesha Summers has transformed the vehicle testing company's events strategy since taking on her current role in May 2023. With a background in fashion and textiles, she has applied her creative expertise to elevate Horiba MIRA’s industry presence through strategic event planning and flawless execution. Her exceptional leadership was showcased during the high-profile Truck Safe launch for Euro NCAP, where she managed a complex event that grew from 65 attendees to more than 120 while maintaining impeccable standards. "We're not just happy – we're [ITALS]really[ITALS] happy," said Matthew Avery, director of research at Euro NCAP member Thatcham. Working across physical and virtual platforms, Summers negotiates preferential involvement in key industry events and manages all aspects from budget planning to supplier coordination.

Hannah Derry, Peugeot UK

Hannah Derry has impressed her seniors after rising through the Stellantis ranks from industrial placement student in 2015 to her current role. Following a BSc in psychology and business, Derry built a foundation in HR before transitioning to Peugeot's brand team in December 2020, where she now coordinates all UK marketing campaigns and manages communications across the website, social media platforms and various media outlets. Her meticulous oversight of Peugeot's new model launches – including the latest 208, 3008, and 5008 – has ensured flawless campaign execution, while her strategic management of the Showcase/Peugeot partnership demonstrated exceptional leadership through nationwide tactical events and content creator sessions. "Her input and activity have helped Peugeot to grow," noted marketing director Maxime Bailly, citing Derry's contribution to key brand metric improvements in 2024 through innovative approaches such as implementing a successful TikTok strategy.

Zoe Peacock, Peugeot UK

Comprehensive automotive expertise developed across multiple roles, starting at Vauxhall in 2011, has helped Zoe Peacock to stand out in the marketing category. In an impressive career trajectory, Peacock has progressed through 11 positions in just 13 years, culminating in her current leadership role of overseeing all Peugeot brand marketing activities. Since January 2024, she has revitalised the brand's approach by developing strategic partnerships with Attitude and Saatchi Gallery, implementing a new social media strategy and executing retailer tours for the new 3008 and 5008 models. Previously recognised for delivering the 'gold standard' Mokka launch at Vauxhall, Peacock was recently honoured by Autocar as a Driver of Change for her work championing inclusivity and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. "Zoe is recognised across the business as a future star," said marketing director Maxime Bailly.

Nicola Verrall, BMW UK

Since earning her BSc in sports management, Nicola Verrall has built an impressive marketing career spanning agency, financial services and automotive sectors. Joining BMW in 2014, Verrall progressed rapidly through multiple roles, including a stint at the BMW Group in Munich, before assuming responsibility for the prestigious large and luxury vehicle portfolio in February 2023. Her exceptional product leadership has shaped the UK introduction of the new BMW M5, the first-ever M5 Touring and the groundbreaking BMW iX, while establishing competitive market positions for each model. Previously, as brand communications manager, she orchestrated numerous successful marketing campaigns, including the BMW 4 Series Coupé launch and the world debut of the BMW 2 Series Coupé at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. "Nikki is an exceptional professional," said her manager, highlighting Verrall’s initiative in revamping the company's New Product Preview format, which achieved an impressive 75-plus net promoter score from attendees.

Emily Booth, BMW

Emily Booth has progressed from university intern to managing full product life cycle responsibilities for two premium brands by the age of 27. She began her BMW career in 2017 and quickly demonstrated her capabilities through pioneering digital brochure strategies and website redesigns before advancing to the sales department as retailer performance centre manager – a role in which she guided BMW Westerly Exeter to Retailer of the Year status. Since 2023, Booth has expertly managed 26 vehicle launches across both brands while steering the crucial transition to Mini's direct selling model for 2025. Her innovative approach extends to governmental relations, where she has successfully advocated for BMW/Mini with Irish authorities on PHEV and road taxation policies, resulting in streamlined technical data approval and registration processes. "Emily's energy, focus on the important topics and strategic clarity has been pivotal," said her manager.

Victoria Kirby-Keyes, JLR

Victoria Kirby-Keyes has transformed automotive storytelling at JLR through her deliberate focus on highlighting women's contributions to vehicle engineering. The former BBC broadcast journalist joined JLR in 2018 after an award-winning media career that included editing scripts for BBC Breakfast and securing exclusive interviews with world leaders. At JLR, Kirby-Keyes has unearthed and amplified previously untold stories of female engineers – from high-heel testing on Defender flooring to the female-designed Range Rover tailgate partition that prevents people from dirtying their clothing when reaching into the boot. Her comprehensive diversity initiatives included hiring a tone of voice consultant to identify and replace male-coded language across brand communications, efforts that have yielded positive trends in the US and Chinese markets. "Victoria truly cares about our end-client," noted a team member. Her leadership style has transformed a negative employee promoter score into +70 through weekly listening sessions, personalised career development and specialised presenter training for her 35-person team.

Danielle O'Brien, Kia UK

After moving from a customer-facing role at Mercedes-Benz to product management, Danielle O’Brien has quickly established herself as an automotive rising star. She started her career as a track host at Mercedes-Benz World in 2013 and progressed through several positions before joining Kia UK in 2023, where she now manages several key models, including the EV3, Sportage and Sorento. Her comprehensive approach to product launches has earned her the prestigious Kia Europe Inspiration Award, which is presented by Kia UK CEO Paul Philpott and for which contenders are nominated anonymously by colleagues across the organisation. In addition to her technical responsibilities of submitting data to the Motor Vehicle Registration Information System (MVRIS) and Thatcham, analysing competitiveness and coordinating cross-functional teams, O’Brien has taken the initiative to organise the first-ever internal employee launch event for the EV3 and develop training materials on in-car technologies for colleagues. "She has helped change the internal reputation of the Kia UK product team," said her manager.

Sheryll Goddard, Dynisma

Sheryll Goddard has transformed the motion simulator start-up company into a globally recognised brand through strategic leadership of all PR, marketing and communications efforts. Aged just 27, the University of Kent journalism graduate was headhunted to join Dynisma when it had fewer than 20 employees and she has since helped to grow the team to more than 100 while establishing its reputation among top-tier automotive OEMs and race teams. Her multi-channel approach has secured prominent coverage in prestigious outlets including Autocar, the BBC, The Times, Forbes and Wired, alongside managing high-profile partnerships with McLaren Automotive and Formula 2 teams such as PREMA and Hitech GP. Beyond external communications, Goddard has implemented comprehensive internal branding initiatives and developed a continuous feedback process with the commercial team that significantly enhanced sales enablement. "Her strategic thinking, creativity and ability to deliver results have been instrumental in elevating Dynisma's reputation globally," according to company founder and CTO Ash Warne. He also highlighted Goddard’s pivotal contributions in supporting the board with marketing, PR, investor relations and brand partnerships that have propelled the company onto The Sunday Times 100 fastest-growing private businesses list.

Evie Kalo, Andersen EV

Evie Kalo’s broad experience, gained in previous roles such as BMW during the i3 launch, Chargemaster and Shell Recharge, helped her to bring valuable knowledge to home charger brand Andersen EV. With her guidance, the company achieved 35% sales growth in 2024 and her digital marketing initiatives helped to drive a 78% increase in paid media sales. Her strategic vision extended to securing VIP video testimonials that significantly elevated brand credibility. An EVIE Rising Star Award winner in 2023, Kalo simultaneously founded Zipster, a sustainable baby clothing brand. "Her vision, creativity and dedication have not only driven growth but have also laid a solid foundation for sustained success," said CEO David Martell.

Alison Aldridge, International Motors

Alison Aldridge impressed judges with her innovative leadership across multiple automotive brands at importer International Motors. After building a diverse career spanning visual merchandising, retail and beauty sectors, she joined the automotive industry in 2021 with GWM Ora UK before advancing to her current group marketing role. Her achievements include successfully launching multiple vehicles, including the new Subaru Forester, and establishing new-to-market brands Xpeng and GWM in the UK. Notably, her GWM Ora London Fashion Week collaboration was internationally recognised. "Alison achieves cut-through at a time when brands are seeing unprecedented levels of competition," said managing director William Brown, praising her unique and innovative approach.

Beth Aynsley, Vertu Motors

Beth Aynsley has made her mark through her strategic leadership at the dealer group. Beginning as a content marketing executive in 2019 after earning a degree in English, she has rapidly progressed to manage a team of 10. Her award-winning campaigns include the 'Then, Now, Always' celebration of Bristol Street Motors' centenary, which created a heartwarming moment when a customer was reunited with his grandfather's Vauxhall Cadet from the TV ad – a story that was featured on ITV News. Under her guidance, Vertu Motors won Motor Trader's Best Social Media Award in 2022 and 2023, while her 'Typical Women Drivers' campaign challenged stereotypes by showcasing female racing drivers and professionals. "Beth's strategic vision and dedication have significantly enhanced our brand's presence," said Liz Cope, Vertu head of marketing. Cope also praised Aynsley’s reorganisation of the team to optimise performance across all channels.

Emily Barrow, BMW

Her comprehensive management of BMW UK's brand presence earned Emily Barrow praise from our judging panel. Since joining BMW in 2017 after earning a BSc in retail, marketing and management from Loughborough University, Barrow has progressed through several roles, such as events and brand partnerships assistant and aftersales marketing executive. In her current position, she oversees a diverse portfolio, including BMW's EV charging partnership with National Parks UK and the customer journey for ConnectedDrive services. Her human-centred approach includes producing video content featuring current owners of BMW electric vehicles. Beyond her core responsibilities, Barrow demonstrates exceptional initiative by managing cross-functional activities such as agency portfolio cost-centre management and steering a critical monthly sales and marketing committee with senior leadership.
