Audi has teamed up with Raeder Motorsport to produce this extreme-looking TT RS endurance racer.
The car is already undergoing testing and will compete in the SP 4T class of the Endurance Championship Nürburgring in the races on 16 and 30 October when it will be raced by Marc Hennerici and Christopher Mies.

The engine it uses has not yet been confirmed. The standard car uses a 2.5-litre, turbocharged 5-cylinder TFSI engine. Improvements to the car's chassis and aerodynamics have been made using components from the Audi R8 LMS that competes in the Le Mans Series.
The TT model was used by privateer squad Abt Sportsline when it competed in the DTM championship between 2000 and 2003.

Re: Audi TT RS racer - first pics
Some Red Bull warpaint and it would make a great-looking DTM car. The A4 DTMs look a bit boring compared to this; always liked the TT-Rs from early last decade.

A road version please!, with a smaller wing, obviously.

I guess this will be the new S line body kit then. Joking aside this looks awful, I know it's a race car and function takes over from form but the rear wing and rear wheel arches are comical.
