Jaguar will give its new flagship XJ saloon its first official public appearance at the 2009 Gulf Luxury Fair in London later this month.

The Jaguar XJ was launched last week at a press event and Autocar has already snapped the luxury saloon on the streets of London.

Jaguar UK managing director Geoff Cousins said: “This luxury-fuelled event is ideal for showcasing our exciting new Jaguar. Not only will we reach an important UK audience, but 70 per cent of visitors will be from the Middle East, which is undoubtedly a key market for the all-new XJ.

“This new sports saloon builds on the success of the new XK and XF models, making it a landmark for the revitalised Jaguar brand.”

The Gulf Luxury Fair takes place in London's InterContinental Hotel from 25-27 July.
