Volvo bolsters luxury saloon

Volvo has added two new models to its line-up - the S80 Executive and the V70 R design.

The first offering enhances luxury in Volvo’s largest saloon and includes leather upholstered instrument panel top - available in ‘espresso brown’ or ‘off black’ - leather seats with massage function and an aluminium centre console. A fridge in the rear seat also comes as an option.

The latter V70 R design model gets a sportier look, with door mirror-integrated LED indicators with ‘silk metal’ covers and new 18-inch alloys. Leather seats are standard as is a leather covered gear lever and floor mats with contrast stitching.Both models will feature the latest Volvo Sensus Infotainment system. Information is presented on a five or seven-inch screen located on the upper part of the centre stack “to make it easy for the driver to keep his or her eyes on the road,” according to Volvo.
