Kia will launch this dramatic-looking KV7 concept at next week’s Detroit motor show.
The “convention-challenging” concept, complete with gullwing doors, previews a replacement model for the Sedona MPV, although it’s unlikely to find its way to the UK.

Expected to be launched in both seven and nine-seat configurations, the production version of the KV7 will be a larger vehicle than the one it replaces, with styling also influenced by the smaller Soul.
A Kia source told Autocar that the KV7 should be seen as another step in Kia’s design revolution under design chief Peter Schreyer. It has been designed in Kia’s Californian design studio and is expected to make production in around 18 months' time.
Instead of the KV7, UK buyers will be able to get an all-new seven-seat Kia Karens – set to be launched later in 2012 – as well as a seven-seat version of the new Sorento.
