Hot weather testing of the Peugeot 407 and 607 saloon replacement - the Peugeot 508 - is underway.
The Peugeot 508 will sit between the two models it replaces in terms of size and will share its all-new chassis with the Citroen C5.

As with the car's winter test programme earlier this year, the 508 is runnung under a heavy disguise. It means these spy pictures give little away about the 508’s styling, but Autocar understands it will be more evolutionary in its design than the step from the 406 to 407.
However, it is understood that the design will have eye-catching detailing and “hard-edged” looks that will help it to stand out from other mid-sized saloons.
The 508 is expected to feature hydropneumatic suspension and adaptive headlamps. A diesel-hybrid powertrain option is also likely to be offered, technology Peugeot is pioneering with its forthcoming 3008 hybrid.
The 508 concept car is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Paris motor show, before the production version is launched at the Geneva motor show in 2011.

Re: Peugeot 508 tests continue
why the 407 was a very stylish sporty car with a classy interier and has done very well in Ireland
and the 607 is a great cheap second hand buy and is much larger than a 3 or 5 series BMW or Merc C or E class . Ok it ain,t near as good as any off them 4 cars but its nice to have something different .Re: Peugeot 508 tests continue
Not hard.
