Revised model available in coupe, saloon, estate and convertible guises

The Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo has gone on sale in the UK.

The B3 is available as a coupe, saloon, estate or convertible and was revealed at the Geneva motor show in March.

All variants are powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six engine producing 395bhp and 398lb ft of torque.

In coupe form, it can get from 0-62mph in 4.7sec and reach a top speed of 186mph. Its CO2 emissions are 224g/km and economy is 29.1mpg.

Styling changes over the BMW 3-series it is based on include a new front spoiler and rear diffuser that encloses the exhaust pipes to reduce lift and optimise engine cooling. It also gets alloy wheels with the same design as the larger B7.

The first UK deliveries of the Alpina B3 S begin in July.

Re: New Alpina B3 comes to UK

Alpina cars always look better than the car they are based on and to me this is the only place a BMW buyer can get the quality and exclusivity the badge once promised. Not a fan of convertible cars but this one looks pretty good.
