New F Sport trim level brings the IS F's looks to the IS250 and IS220d

Lexus has launched a revised IS range for 2010, including a new F Sport trim level which is inspired by the high-performance IS F model.

The F Sport trim is available on both IS250 and IS220d models and it includes an IS F-style front grille and rear spoiler, 18-inch alloys, aluminium sports pedals, sports seats and a sports steering wheel. The IS250 also comes with lowered suspension.

The black-on-black interior also features a black headlining and grey stitching detail on the front seats and steering wheel. The sports seats are finished in Alcantara with leather side bolsters.

Lexus has also improved the emissions and economy of the IS250 for 2010. Equipped with manual transmission, combined economy is now 29.1mpg, up from 28.8mpg from the previous model. In the automatic, economy is 31.7mpg, up from 31.0mpg.

CO2 emissions have decreased from 231g/km to 227g/km in the manual and from 214g/km to 209g/km in the automatic.

The new range is available to order now, priced from £24,350.

I still can't get Alan Partridge out of my mind... Lexus is forever tainted.

Quite. And presumably the ride is still iffy and the diesel is still slow, noisy, and (somewhat bizarrely, given the sector it's in) offered without an auto option. I'd love to know how many IS Lexus actually sell in Europe.

Re: Lexus revises IS range

Hardly a ground breaking improvement is it?, a sporty interior from the top model, no rear seat improvements(more room!), small boot, and pathetic fuel increases, and to cap it all it starts at around £25K!, £25K!!!,no that's too much for so little, how's it going to fare against the small Lexus?,is it going to steal sales from the IS range?
