Inside, it gets a black nano-coated magnesium dashboard, and its centre console is finished in galvanised platinum. Each unit will cost 1.65 million euro (£1.47m).

Bugatti has also created two unique models for individual customers. The 1.45m euro (£1.29m) Sang d'Argent is a coupe and it gets a silver metallic paint job, the wheels from the open-top Veyron Grand Sport, polished aluminium doors and a silver air intake on the roof.

The 1.55m euro (£1.38m) open-top Soleil de Nuit completes the trio of special editions. It is finished in Black Blue metallic paint and polished aluminium, and comes with a burnt orange interior.

That's the idea...not a very good picture though. I've used this glass before in a project, for a jewellers. It's horribly expensive stuff, but does look good (even in 24mm thick armour plate glass), and looks even better when backlit.

I'm not sure about automotive applications though.
