Volkswagen has launched a new top-of-the-range version of its Tiguan compact SUV – but it won’t be coming to the UK.
The Tiguan Track & Avenue will be available only in European markets and has been created by VW’s custom styling arm, Volkswagen Individual.

VW won’t be offering the model in the UK as most of the Track & Avenue’s features can be ordered from the options list of its current Tiguan range-topper, the R Line.
Exterior styling changes on the Track & Avenue include 19-inch alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, a new diffuser, new front fog lights, bi-xenon headlights and a choice of two exclusive colours: Oryx White Pearl Effect and Island Grey Pearl Effect.
Inside, the Track & Avenue gets leather upholstery, sports seats, a leather-trimmed multi-function steering wheel and an upgraded stereo system.
Under the bonnet, VW’s 197bhp 2.0 TSI engine is available with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox, while the 2.0 TDI is available with either 138bhp or 168bhp. The lower-powered diesel is auto only, while the more powerful model gets a manual.
The Track & Avenue costs from 38,225 euros (£34,500).

Re: VW launches top-spec Tiguan
It's basically an Escape with the R Line kit and leather trim. No one seems to want the Escape (Track & Field) in the UK so no wonder VW doesn't want to bring it over here.
