These are the clearest spy pictures yet of Renault’s new Megane coupe-cabriolet.
Yesterday we brought you gloomy pictures of the new model testing at dusk, but these new pictures show the Renault Megane CC in more detail while testing in northern Scandinavia.

Little is given away about the styling as the car is still under heavy disguise, but this model is at a later stage of its development. Some of the camouflage from its glasshouse has been removed, while this model is running on alloy wheels, not the steel wheels from the previous car.
Expect its styling to be akin to the new Megane range, which is heavily toned down from the more radical styling of the previous model.
Despite the disguise, the lights and front end from the hatch are visible, but the shape of the rear end seems similar to the current model, suggesting the styling changes here will be minimal in oder to store its retractable hard-top roof, which carries over.
The cabriolet model will complete the new Megane’s range, after hatchback, coupe, estate and Renaultsport models were all launched this year.
The current cabriolet is still sold in the UK and at one point it was second only to the Mazda MX-5 in terms of units sold. It was one of the first in the C-segment to get a retractable hard-top roof, which has since been introduced on rivals such as the Volkswagen Eos and Ford Focus.
A Renault source told Autocar that the engine range would mirror that of the hatchback and coupe models, and it would also be one the first Renaults to benefit from the firm’s new dual-clutch gearbox.
It will go on sale in late spring after being launched at the Geneva motor show with a price tag of around £21,000.

Blimey that looks large in the arse. Really don't see the point of making these things 4 seaters.
