Cadillac is to bring its 555bhp, 6.2-litre V8 CTS-V saloon to the UK, according to senior sources at GM. Contrary to recent claims from within the company, the CTS-V super saloon is destined for the UK market, but in left-hand-drive guise only. A decision on whether to build the CTS wagon is yet to be made, so we may still see a load-lugging variant of the new saloon, which goes on sale in September. The Cadillac CTS-V recently lapped the Nurburgring in just over 7m59sec with GM’s Performance Division Executive, John Heinricy, at the wheel.
