The SV Motor Company has launched its limited-edition SV 9 Competizione.
The Competizione is based on the Corvette C6 and production will be limited to just 1000 units. Its powertrain has yet to be announced but it is expected keep the C6’s 6.0-litre V8, which produces 400bhp and 400lb ft of torque. The car's 0-60mph time is a claimed four seconds.

The styling is a cross between American muscle car and Italian supercar, and the Competizione features carbonfibre body work and lightweight custom forged alloy wheels to keep its weight down to 1400kg.
Inside, it gets a full leather interior with carbonfibre trim and a sat-nav system. Customisable dials and gauges on the dash are also an option.
There are 25 exterior colour choices, five interior trims and four wheel options, so SV hopes that no two of the 1000 units produced will be the same.
SV has yet to confirm whether the Competizione will be sold in the UK, but it will cost $99,995 (£61,000) in the US when it goes on sale later this year. It will be unveiled officially at the Concorso Italiano show next month.
