Ondelios and Kangoo ZE concepts to feature; Citroen confirm Sebastian Loeb will appear, too

Renault will run its Ondelios and Kangoo ZE concept cars in the hillclimb at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The concept cars were first seen at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Renault Kangoo ZE is a zero emission electric vehicle powered by a 70kw electric motor.

The hybrid Renault Ondelios features gullwing doors and 23-inch alloy wheels, while power comes from 2.0-lite dCi engine and two 20kw electric motors.

Renault will also be displaying a 50-year-old electric Dauphine, which was adapted by North American Henney Motor Company. Only around 100 were ever produced and the car ran on 18 2V batteries.

Meanwhile, Citroen has confirmed that five-time WRC champion Sebastian Loeb will be demonstrating his C4 WRC car in the hillclimb.

Loeb will also run his C4 in Goodwood’s special forest rally stage alongside his WRC Citroen team-mate Dani Sordo.
