Agree. If they had used this as a 'vehicle' to highlight some of the real problems facing the industry in engineering and developing credible solutions to the electric vehicle / hybrid question, then I'd feel that was a better use of licence payers' money. This is just having a laugh for the sake of it. Any bunch of clowns in a garage given a few thousand quid can knock up a clowns' car.
Sorry to come across as a killjoy, but at a time when the industry and economy is in serious turmoil with big issues to overcome, this just seems like TG trying to spend what's left of their budget at the end of the year to justify next year's.....yes I know TG is just a magazine & entertainment show, but surely they can do better than this.
