new audi a8 - well i suppose it will look like all the other audi's. am i the only one who thinks audi styling is bland and boring.

Yes, they are a bit dull: BMWs without the flair. And while this A8 will simply be the company's outermost Russian doll, people are still buying them in huge numbers. They cannot possibly be test driving them first, but they sure are signing those VWFS leasing docs. The crazy fules.

Incidentally, I've heard Audi have been looking to move on from their existing suspension setup and have come up with the following:

    Should improve things no end.

Very good! I assume this will be part of a new £1200 advanced handling pack?

:) Pair that with run flat and I think you're onto a winner!

And it should make for a softer ride than any other current Audi ...

now I should be called 44 cars so far ... and 21 motorbikes !

     it's funny the life...

here, we can see many shooting to Audi, joking...

we live in a free world. and that's good!

but come on, Audi as 100 years, many of them full of remarkable feats

one of their founders was obligated to move out and set-up a new company even taking into account that his name was being used in the market, and wich market, the supreme brand for V8 engines...

then, there was a time that they were the world leaders in the two-stroke and motorcicles...

then they kill everyone in the race field...

later, like the phoenix, they come up from the misery...

and they took time, but made right steps... that's why now they are were they are, and they deserve it!

but sadlly there are to much haters in this world...

... maybe, maybe because the first Bimmers were just German Austins... there are also so many haters here now...

it will be really bold now to see Austins now as British Bimmers...

or to see Bentley flying by their own breath, or Rolls-Royce, or Jaguar, or Land-Rover, or Vauxhall or...

it's funny the life, isn't it?

Name five of Audi's "remarkable feats" that helped shape the modern automobile. Being the holders of two Guinness World Records for Least Comfortable Car and Least Reliable Car don't count.

Really Twated, you can be rather rude. I've had an A8 W12 for a little over a year and the ride is very soft and supple on my 18's and left in comfort mode. I get to enjoy an amazing engine that i can put into manual mode, put my foot down and use all 12 cylinders and 450hp. The car is very subtle on the outside, granted, but I prefer it that way. I dont want to shout or show off. The car isn't for everyone elses enjoyment, its purely for mine and I get the best interior in the business. Still prettier inside than any S class, 7 Series or arguably Bentley. The cars engine, electrics have been perfect- the only grumble I have is with the rain sensors that aren't sensitive enough, and the absense of an intermittent function. The only real reason I may not consider buying another one is the sheer size of it. Luxury barges just aren't very practical.

But they are cool when in the right spec

Tell me about it i think the rain sensors are all in need of a serious re-write for all VAG models they all seem to have a mind of there own, when it rains nothing nothing then all of sudden it goes mad then nothing .... then a sudden burst !

    A8 W12
Very cool was also in transporter 2 way better then the BMW they had in the first one!

I'll have whatever substances coolboy is on...

Back to the new A8: a photo in A**o E*****s shows a monstrous version of the familiar Audi grille (+ relatively smaller light units). What happened to the more angular/hexagonal grille shown in the 'teaser' drawing? And has their 'design language' (sic) moved on at all?? I guess we'll find out tomorrow...
