    Silverstone has launched a new young driver initiative, designed to make teenagers safer drivers before they start taking official on-the-road lessons.

    Rookie Drive is available for those aged 13 and above. In the two-hour-long course they will be able to familiarise themselves with the controls of a car for the first time.

    These sorts of schemes have been going on for years. This news article reads like an advert.

    I am happy to see this "advertised".  The positive advantages that schemes like this have, especially at £45, they should be shouting it from the roof tops!
