Does anyone else think that the "new-look" Autotrader website is one of the worst and least user-friendly pieces of web design to befoul the internet, or is it just me?

The Morgan dealer in Hertfordshire?  'Fraid not, though I wish I were.  Might get a discount then! ;)

P.S.  Nor am I related to John Rutter the classical composer, or Michael Rutter the British Superbike rider.  Sorry.

Back to the original post - yes, the "updated" version is a pain in the arse. I find it temperamental, annoying and it adds no functionality over the old version. The "pretty, colourful, spherical" buttons are pretty pointless, they take longer to load than the previous version and while it looks like an undergraduate's ICT wet dream it's not functional.

Err ... am I missing something here? I get no spherical buttons on the web page I see before me. When was it updated? Am I looking at an old version? and if so how?

    Confused now.

couldn't agree more, it is now so fiddly to the extent that I don't bother visiting it anymore. It also seems to freeze after 2 or 3 searches.

yes Nick the new Autotrader website is useless.

it hangs, freezes, kicks me out of the website and generally takes an age to do anything.

surely Autotraders business must be suffering as a result.

in the top left hand corner where it show the Autotrader logo, it says 'Beta' next to it.

isnt 'Beta' a term used to describe developments versions of electronics such as software, computers and mobile phones?

AAAAHH ... I get it, Autotrader, not Autocar (Yes, I am muppet of the week)

Agreed entirely, the new site is TERRIBLE, the old one was hugely better.
