Renault will announce a decision on its Formula One future by the end of this year, according to its CEO Carlos Ghosn.

When questioned by reporters in Paris, Ghosn did little to clarify the firm’s future in the sport and refused to commit the French squad to F1 for any length of time.

French employment laws preventing them closing the team immediately? Engine's are still made in France aren't they?

 I think they will leave, now toyota have gone who have they got to compete with? there are in f1 to show they can beat other car manufactuers that would compete with car sales. Ferrari or Mercedes they dont lose sales to. Carlos doesnt like spending money, he needs a good reason to stay in.

 

I think they will go as well .

 

I am sure I read before that when Carlos Ghosn took over , he let it be known he was NO fan on motor sports , but that Renault would remain commited to as long as they were a success in F1 .

 

Now is the excuse HE has been looking for in my opinion .

Glimmer of hope is that they have deffered the decision ..........

 They can leave the F1.
