    Sir Jackie Stewart’s eldest son has recorded a charity single as a 70th birthday present to his father.

    Paul Stewart recorded the single Fly Free with family friend Eric Clapton on the guitar and it will be released on 15 November.

    All money raised will be donated to Formula One’s chosen charity, The Grand Prix Mechanics’ Charitable Trust.

    Missed a trick there recording "Fly Free" unless they hope to sell it to Ryanair.

    I would have thought a Jaques Brell composition would be more suitable for the old man's birthday - perhaps "Jackie"

    Wouldn't a 50 quid donation provide more dosh to the charity than this dirge is likely to generate?

    Will he be wearing tartan 'troosers' for the video and insisting on a private toilet that can't be used by everyone else when they go on tour?
