The Mercedes CLS is being fine-tuned for production ahead of its launch at next year’s Paris motor show.

It will be the firm’s first model to get a new range of turbocharged, direct injection petrol engines. All of these units will be turbocharged when the car goes on sale soon after its unveiling.

the range topper has a 5.5 turbocharged V8 with 544hp, where does that leave the AMG version which uses the 6.2 N/A V8 which has 518hp and less torque? or is the new turbocharged version gna be the AMG range topper, since Bmw and Audi are also going the turbo/supercharging route with their M and S cars!!!!

 What's going on with the pixelated plates? Did Mercedes-Benz get to the spy/spies?

Love the current CLS, still looks better then the new E class. I just hope the new one is still as classy and cool.

I saw loads when they first came out, but i don't seem to have seen a new one for ages...

 

thats a good point actually i dunno why the cls has not sold by the bucketload it looks far better than the e class (even the new one) dare i say sexier than the s class? much more nicer than the 5 series bmw and the audi a6 just doesnt get a look in  so why has this car not sold that well?  i know if i was in the market for such a car this would be my first choice!  this new model looks like a 4 door CL class judging by those pics
