  • Production CR-Z 'won't change'

    The Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe will look very similar to the concept car, according to the Japanese manufacturer’s design chiefs.

    Following this week's Tokyo motor show Nobuki Ebisawa, Honda’s general manager of global design, admitted that the concept version of the CR-Z that appeared at the on Honda’s stand was, in fact, a very thinly veiled version of the production-ready model set to make its public debut at the Detroit motor show, in January.

    are there final mechanical details yet? Hope it is faster than a Prius

    believe it when you see.

    manufacturers always try to play that 'its 95% the same as the production car' garbage to try and build excitement.

    Like when Nissan said aside from some minor detailing the GTR would look just like the concept version etc etc

    Actually, Honda has a good record on keeping true to their concepts. In fact, in recent years, their concept cars have either been mad-cap dream machines (with no plans for production) or the finished article (bar the 20" wheels and blue LED running lights), so it essentially won't change from this.

     Well they have only got 2 months to change it as its being shown in January.
