    Lotus is investigating a return to Indycar, GT racing and Le Mans, as well as a deeper involvement in Formula One under new CEO Dany Bahar.

    Bahar, who has previously worked for the Ferrari and Red Bull F1 teams, confirmed the legendary Lotus name would make a prominent comeback to motorsport to return to the days last seen under Colin Chapman.

    Only one thing concerns me, where is the money coming from to fund these racing programmes?

     Your facts are wrong.  Proton does not own the rights to the name "Team Lotus."  David Hunt does.
