    Chrysler and Lancia will share products across their respective ranges as part of Fiat’s takeover of the US firm.

    Lancia CEO Olivier Francois has been installed as Chrysler’s brand boss as the first step towards the two firms’ integration, which will see them share everything from small hatches to large saloons.

    One of the first cars to spawn from the arrangement could be a Lancia variant of the Chrysler 300C to replace its ageing Thesis saloon.

    Is that Autocar pondering or is there some substance behind that pondering? The reason I ask is that a Chrysler 300C would not physically fit down many Italian lanes. So I doubt whether it would sell in Italy and what hope is there of any exports. Wouldn't you just buy a 300C?
