This is the Lotus Evora Type 124 Endurance Racecar, which will compete in selected endurance events in 2010 and 2011.

Developed in-house by Lotus, the Type 124 (pronounced 'one twenty four') has a race-tuned version of the mid-mounted Toyota V6 engine, with power increased to over 394bhp, up from 276bhp on the standard road car.

When I first signed up to this forum, I did it with the intention of one day being able to make posts as insightful as yours are.

It's something I'm still working on, but everyone has to have a dream.

Does this mean they've had to get rid of those really useful looking rear seats?  That's a shame.  Still it'll be nice to see a long wheelbase racer for a change.

 they need to tune the road evoras engine more...
