If the exterior leaves you in little doubt as to the overtly sporting nature of the C63, the theme continues inside, and how. The excellent basic platform that is the standard new C-class cabin has been taken to another place altogether, and the result is extremely successful.

For starters, the seats are quite superb, featuring massive extra bolstering in all the right places and electronic adjustment in every plane. The wheel is a flat-bottomed item that feels peachy in the hands and...Read the full article

AMG has worked wonders with this car. I have always like M cars but this has really shifted the balance into AMGs favour. Actually changing the width of the front axle just for this model gave big improvements in turn in and feel whilst showing the public how committed it is to making a car that is better than the M3.

I've got a chance of a superb leasing deal on a C63 which amounts to the equivalent of £3k saving per year over the normal price.  Also got a great quote for insurance so my main worry is the fuel consumption.

Presently I own a Focus ST and I wasn't planning on changing cars at the moment, other than the fact that this C63 lease deal is so good hence it might be an affordable way to drive something like a C63 for a couple of years.

I usually do no more than about 10k miles per year, but even at that, my concern is that the C63 could end up costing twice as much on fuel over the year than my ST does.

I need to make the decision within the next 24 hours, so if anyone can offer any views on whether I should go for it or not, that would be much appreciated.

I reckon I'd also take maintenance with the lease deal since it seems the C63 eats tyres quickly, and trips to the Mercedes servicing could also be quite expensive.  Anyone think I shouldn't take the maintenance option?

    Cheers
