 it wont be better for the environment because its a diesel. and it wont sell on its MPG either as an economic incentive as it will no doubt cost over £5K more than the M3 list price.

but if i am wrong then it will be successful.

visually its great. can they make that look for production, it looks nothing like a BMW, even with a grill.

 

 

 

 

What a car! Please make it BMW! Drop the 760's V12 or the X6M's 4.4V8 into it and tune it up to 600bhp.

 I hope they put it into production on one condition... they still offer a traditional manual gearbox with it, even if its a cost adding option.

I'm a month into my E92 M3, and everyday I drive it I regret choosing the @%$% DCT. I drive it everyday through rushhour traffic and I honestly think a manual is better even for that.

Am I to assume that with no heat in the exhaust, I can't move my seat, cool myself or steer!! Every owner must park their car on a long bit of straight road, in the shade!!

The stats are really impressive and with BMW's recent form certainly achievable in the near future.  The diesel/electric hybrid makes perfect sense with torque being often more important than power in the real world, 50-70 on the motorway etc... and it does look good, someone lock up the village idiot.

Except that would make it slightly pointless. Otherwise, the car looks great and BMW surely have the nouse to build it, but at a slightly reasonable price. I like the extra-wide kidney grille.

For real man, I don't like the car... or any other BMW... and this one is pretty damn fat and ugly...
