German tuner 9ff is proposing to build a speedster version of it extreme 1120bhp 9ff GT9R.

Although details are slight, an artist's rendering of the car was displayed on 9ff's new dedicated website for the United Arab Emirates. Underneath the image, it said: 'Fastest Car in the World - 257 MPH - Now available as Coupe or Convertible'.

Wow peeps in the middle east get all da luck!

What ever happened to the hard top version?  There was a flurry of press activity when it was first released and some "limited" tests (which if I remember rightly it wasn't up to full spec), then it disappeared.

From the renderings, it has the potential to be a lot better looking than the coupe though.

Do you honestly think something like this will be seen on the public highway?with roads like we got and the "what summer!" we had?, besides one of these cars was use on a very popular car show and over a measured distance it was eaten by an Areil Atom!,so i think its just a straight line machine and give it a couple of miles it may well do the claimed speed, but you won't see one in Tesco's car park,will you?

Just had a good look at the picks, this is not a road car, this is a Jerry Anderson hang over from the sixties, ever watch UFO on the telly, there were cars on that prog that have some resemlence.Actually stick some sponsor names on it, maybe a number on the doors and you could go to Le-mans racing and drive it home after,(joking!)this is so not a car for the road!, you know anyone with the skill let alone the finances who could drive it?

Peter, have you been in to some of the more affluent areas recently?  When even my mum says Bentleys are becoming common, I wouldn't put it past someone to use one for the Tesco's run!

Could be Teg-type -R , but if i had the cash,i'd have someone to go for the messages, such things would beneath my station, no i'd be out at a racing circuit honing my driving skills from my new best friend Michael (Schumacher)!, some dream, ah well , back too the coalface with my keyboard.  

It looks a real mean machine, a track car built for the road.  I'd love to see it in a side by side with the Veyron and Koenigsegg CCXR.  Come on Autocar, indulge us
