  • A look inside BMW's mould-breaking 'PAS'

    Dec 09, 2007 8:36 PM

    Development of BMW’s radical Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS), a luxuriously equipped large five-seat hatchback to go up against the Mercedes R-class in 2009, has moved into top gear. Prototypes are now being trialled in cold weather tests in northern Sweden, and our new spy pictures show the interior of the car for the first time.

    Intelligence suggests;

    In the UK market, it will be driven, mostly, by aggressive, go-getting types, it's ECU will encourage the optional use of indicators and fog lamps 'left on' will be standard.

    Autocar will love it. They will run one for a year with press plates on.

    A quick trawl through this web site, only looking at FORUM'S and BLOGS & FEATURES, I have counted 22 threads relating to BMW. I must admit to seeing a number of Audi threads but nothing compares to BMW.

    They should just disregard all other makes and models and run a fleet of BMW's. Whats in the Autocar car park today? well bugg-- me its full of Munich's finest.

    As I said, a number were also noted for Audi's but the BMW threads far outweighed them, therefore a larger percentage for BMW than any other.

    Alternatively, you could conduct your own small survey to prove me wrong!
