    What is it?

Like its Discovery sister car, the 2010 Range Rover Sport gets a major makeover. The interior has been completely re-designed (with a big step-up in perceived quality) as has the front-end. The chassis has also been substantially re-worked.

The most significant change is under the bonnet with the introduction of the new 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel, which offers 29 percent more power and 36 percent more torque than the outgoing 2.7-litre unit.

Porsche Boxster of the range rover world?

At least they've improved on the awful interior of the previous generation.

Not a big 4x4 fan in general, but I quite like the sound of this RR. That interior does look good.

It's what this car should have always been. Just looking at the interior pics makes me wanna sit in it, even though I dislike these type of vehicles. If it wasn't for its weight and CO2 values being above the 225 threshold, it would be much more competitive performance wise with the BMW X5 and it would go straight to the top of the class easily. A great effort.

As ridiculous as the previous one. I look forward to an opportunity to consider the revised front end when the next thrusty pillock sits 2mm from my rear bumper in one of these, whilst yammering on a mobile phone.

I have never - and I mean never - met any owner of this vehicle range who would buy another one. Regardless of age the reliability is crap.

That's too bad, but have you actually met any owner of this car? Perhaps I am just lucky, but I do not have any problems with mine. I just love reliability stories from people who have actually never owned the type of car in question.

It's true. Range Rover, Audi A3/4, BMW 3 , any white van. The vehicles almost guaranteed to be driven aggressively and badly.

I like the RR, but the Sport is unfortunately the car of choice of moneyed up chavs, it should come with a big gold chain.

Seconded. I am feb up of reading anti-LR posts from people who have probably never even been in one let alone driven one, who all of a sudden are experts on how unreliable they are or how they are driven by nobs.

If you don't like them fine but at least come up with something constructive rather than made up BS to support your prejudices.

If you haven't driven a particular car don't say you have just to prove a point. It doesn't fool anybody and is bloody annoying.
