This is the Devon Motor Works GTX supercar, which has been track testing ahead of its unveiling at this week's Pebble Peach Concours.

The GTX, which is due to go on sale next year, is being funded by businessman Scott Devon. These are the first official pictures of the car; previous images have been artist's renderings.

Well for god's sake i hope it doesn't look anything like that! it's an Airfix kit!,typical American dream car, its like something out of a film like "Terminator" or even "Transformers" it reminds me of Batmans car, to confrontational,totally impractical and as said in story really only built for one purpose,to rub Europe's best in it,well if they stick the big round thing in the car on the right side of the car and sell it here the bring it on,but don't just build a racer in a road car body and claim the record,but a "standard" one round the track, no trick suspension, fancy rubber or more potent fuel, but for god's sake do somthing about the body, my son's drawn better,blindfold in the dark with boxing gloves on!

How strange... the timing of this announcement wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that Radical are trying to break the lap record again immanently would it?

This is too funny, you do realize that the Batman’s car was designed by a Brit; so maybe the Devon is a typical British dream car. ;)

Hmm, you mean like a Radical that is a Lemans prototype with turn signals?
