  • All-electric Volvo C30

    Volvo has confirmed it is working an all-electric C30, although it currently has no plans to put it into production.

    The Swedish firm will show a fully operational version of the all-electric C30 as part of its Innovation for Life event, which will be held shortly after the Frankfurt Auto Show.

    It is my perception that while Volvo is up for sale Ford are still allowing the company to invest and don't appear to have turned the taps off. Are they hoping that the US market will recover sufficiently to allow them to keep Volvo? Did they want to sell it in the first place or wasputting it yp for sale just a political move to appease the US Congress and Senate? As a brand it could work well in Europe as the natural place to go once you have outgrown the Ford range and the DRIVe range could work well in the US against the onward march of the hybrid
