    This is American company Devon Motor Works’ forthcoming GTX supercar, which is aiming to break the production car lap record of the Nurburgring.

    The GTX, which is due to go on sale next year, could have been a successor to the Dodge Viper if businessman Scott Devon’s bid for the Dodge brand had not fallen through. Now the company has decided to go it alone.

    I like it in a TVR muscle car sort of way.

    Now the sale of the "Viper" brand has fallen flat, wouldn't it be worth him contacting Mr Smolenski and putting a bid in for the TVR name?  Should have enough kudos on both sides of the Atlantic to give this car a head start.

    Come on!

    This is the American ego at its best!,anyone with the money and expertise can build a car to go round tha circuit,but its not exactly a standard version is it?,one picked from the production line, for that matter none of the current crop of fast cars aren't exactly fettled to produce their best,fancy tyres/pressures,suspension set-ups to suit said circuit,no this is just competition between companys pure and simple!
