Hello no. 2 Gump....(Dan M)...: I realise the gump family are not the sharpest so......
1) it is bigger.....you are right and hence to get close to the g/km of the Pruis which is smaller is even more impressive; that is the thing we are looking at in terms of the technology.
2) as you have pointed out the car will be most likely more expensive than the Prius, but it always was....therefore you would have to look and see at what price increase the hybrid has over its conventional unit.
3) Auris (say) at base is £13.6K with Prius being £18.39K base....giving approx £4.7K difference and apporx. 35% of £13.6K
4) Citreon reckon (taking the 3008 as a benchmark) that the system they have adds approx. 15% to the cost of the car.....thus taking item 1 I referenced above and this shows even more just how good Citreon is and how rubbish Toyota is.
5) I did know Toyota owns Lexus etc.....I do not see your point unless you are telling me that the GS is a match with its 185g/km CO2 compared to the Citreon (expected) 100g/km CO2......now considering Lexus is the Toyota premium brand.....you would have been silly to bring them up as Citreon beats them hands down......
6) as said Citreon superb....Toyota (and especially Lexus....)..smegging rubbish.
I realise you suffer with anything more sophisticated than yourself and thus I hope the above assists you....as said Citreon most superbly excellent......to Toyota who are quite clearly technology mingers
Plus Citreon had 15% of conventional and Toyota had 36% of convention....thus Citreon not only smashed Toyota technology usage performance....they did it in manufacturing performance also......and that is truly excellent design...not only beat your competition on ability but also beat them on price......Toyota are (as said) technology MINGERs
