Jaguar has already taken 55 orders for the new XJ luxury saloon in the UK alone, the company has confirmed.

Isn't that the whole idea, people go to the dealer and buy a car!

Is there a recesion in the UK? 55 orders for a car costing 52500GBP minimum is very good, lets hope the orders keep coming in.

From all the pictures and films I've seen of the new XJ, in my opinion its a much better effort than the XF, though there's not a lot wrong with that car, a part from the head lights which have that "surprised" look.

I'm sure the XJ will be a fantastick car to drive. The interior looks like a masterpiece.

How many XJ's did they sell last year?
