Lotus has struck a deal with car rental company Hertz to allow its cars to be hired in Italy.

Lotus Elise SCs, which come in Hertz’s trademark yellow and have a customised interior, will be available from the middle of July.

So, that's the US and Italy sorted, when are Hertz UK going to let us have something interesting?

Teg, don't forget - these rentals are for Italy; in Italy you don't need to take a car to the track to drive it to the limit;)  Just take a quiet mountain road and away you go!
