    Mercedes-Benz says this new car is its toughest E-class yet. Which is quite a claim, given that Mercedes’ executive saloon can trace its direct predecessors (if not the ‘E’ nomenclature) right back to 1947 and that the lineage has provided some of the world’s most trustworthy and durable vehicles.

    What has hapened to the front end of the latest Mercedes Cars?

     Looks like it should be wearing a Hyundai badge? Thats old 1990's Hyundai.

    surely it will be a very good long distant runner, but its about time mercedes start to think about styling! it looks desperately confused, giving hints of a hyundai in every curve!

    The W212 definitely does NOT resemble a Hyundai or for that matter, any other Korean make... There is a poignant German touch to it... I fail to understand how would you come to that conclusion...

    Could be worse, could look like a SSangyong.

    Based on some of their offerings over the last decade or so we should perhaps hope it's built better than a Hyundai....

    Mate the message to which you are responding is almost half a year old. Rather than registering an account simply to stamp your foot at it could you not have scrolled on past? No, obviously not.
