There's not much to add to that except 'Desperate Cow' for the ones bought for fat, orange housewives.

What's going on then? This car is due in UK in 2011?? I saw it today (8th Dec 2009) passing through Northamptonshire on the A43 / A45. A gorgeous White California, F1 CAL!!!!

Hmm if it was for marketing they could have done it for about £20. Thats how much F1 CAL costs online to make up the plates. They could run those plates in Ferrari dealers, private and public events off road, track days etc. When on the road it can use it's normal plates.

It must have been bought for a customer who wishes to buy the car with that plate, and they will charge money extra onto the sale price.
