Is this car too wide to be driven on most UK b-roads?- from the pics it looks as wide as a 599. Seems that more compact supercars might work better if they are meant as road cars.
With 650 BHP it better be faster in a straight line compared to its 500 BHP italian "rivals"... Bring it against the Enzos and The Zondas of this world though and it has little or no chance.
REALZEUS:Bring it against the Enzos and The Zondas of this world though and it has little or no chance.
Realzeus you must be an expert....however, I seriously doubt it...... I think we should just wait and see rather than blindly assuming on matters of fact we cannot YET comment on....
Traction control but no ABS?
Sounds needlesly risky to me.
Pricing it at £100,000 makes this car just another supercar. One of the things that appealed about the M12 was it's relative bargain price.
This is going to have to be a very complete car.
650bhp. £100,000. A "pure driver's car"... rather unfortunately styled like a kit car. Come on guys, for that price it has to look like it hasn't just dropped out of a mold. Can't wait to see the interior...
Autocar:The company has been carrying out final testing on the braking system (which will not feature ABS)
What a huge shame this car will not have ABS (if Autocar's predictions are accurate), especially given the performance. The fact that the car is equiped with a TCS means that Noble cannot use that "we want the driver to have total control" rubbish excuse. ABS is one electronic system that should be standard on all road cars, because a well-developed system (e.g Porsche) does not detract from the experience and contributes massively to safety and braking performance in adverse conditions (of which we have lots in the UK). I also think that Noble will narrow its market due to this ridiculous decision because I can't be the only one thinking that I would not buy a road car without ABS. Even Lotus eventually decided to include ABS (especially as they plan to sell in wider markets) to their road cars. Apart from TVR's reliability issues, the lack of ABS was another main issue. It certainly put me off the cars. Sort it out Noble!!
No ABS. For £ 100,000 will it have a steering wheel and brakes?
This doesn't "look like a kit car". This is a kit car.
for that amount of money, you can have a GT3 RS, which is a nice piece of technology, not a kit car developed in a garage.
