Are those seats made of vinyl? They are awfully shiny.
Looks very nice indeed. Probably matches the quality of a Golf and looks a lot more interesting. Though it will probably get slated for having too many buttons on the dash. Personally I get annoyed at having to dive into a car menu to adjust the main settings when a simple button would have been quicker.
Looks very similar to the new Fiesta's dash...even downto the soft red glow around the dials & note the red glow on the door handles - ala Fiesta.
ZoomZoom are you suggesting that Ford copied the Insignias interior?
I do agree that the Fiesta inside is much smarter than any Ford I can recall.
This Astra is looking more and more impressive.
I like the interior lots, but the exterior looks like a retrograde step.
The current model Astra still looks smart and taut.

Might that be because there are about 50 small buttons all over the console? Looks like a bl00dy nightmare to me.
It's all a bit Chevy in there I think...
Bit Honda Civic for my taste, hope it drives better than it looks inside or out for that matter.

Providing they are easy to reach its not an issue at all. Most people keep their cars for over a year which is plenty of time to get used to the buttons. A button is so much faster than scrolling through menus. On a side note I hope Vauxhall keep the sport switch, it was great fun in the current Astra.
Looks quite an exciting place to sit - particularly like the integration of the door handles into the main dash. However, the centre console is horribly riddled with buttons which dates it and looks an ergonomic nightmare...

You nailed it!
I was just discussing this very issue with a work colleague the other day.
The more the merrier I say.
