Orangewheels:Good idea but what is Mercedes really looking to acieve, after all it's not exactly target audience is it? Get to them at 12 and hope that when they get to 50 they will remember the brand and start buying them?
I think what MB is trying to achieve here is to continue to promote their culture of motoring safety, and I think it's a damn good idea. Off-course it's restricted, as it's only based in 1 part of the country, but it's a pilot scheme and if it is successful, then more will become available. Most importantly for MB, it is a good business idea. The article failed to give any idea of prices, but if MB's current schemes for young drivers are anything to go by, it will cost from £75ph. Anyway, this country needs an improved scheme to teach young people how to drive properly, as the standards today are ridiculous.
