  • Veritas set for London debut

    The retro open-cockpit Veritas RSIII will get its first public airing at London’s Salon Prive show.

    The Veritas RSIII, inspired by 1940s BMW racers, is powered by a 473bhp V8 or a 592bhp V10, both sourced from BMW. Veritas claims the RSIII will accelerate to 60mph in around 3.0sec, and will top out at more than 200mph.

    Only 50 Veritas RSIIIs will be produced, at a starting price for the most basic models of £245,000.

    HOW MUCH ? This is ludicrous.........still, I guess there will always be someone who'll buy one just to be different. What a waste of money.

    Bargain! Especially when you consider it's only a single seater.

    Is this thing meant to be a road car or is it only intended for single series racing?

    I can't believe you're all being so cruel about the Veritas! My three year old son spent 25 minutes designing that and got through two crayons in the process.
