    Bertone spiced up the Shanghai show with its Mantide concept.

    The Italian styling house has used the Corvette ZR1 as a base for the car, but has given it a different body, interior and shaved 100kgs from the kerb weight to add to the ’Vette’s already impressive performance.

    Bertone claims that it has used both aeronautical and F1 influences to design the striking bodywork.

    Even More mental than usual from Bertone, but I doubt chevy would go for anything that didnt have the cut off slab rear end the Vette has always had, unfortunately, as that's the one part of the current Vette design I dislike.

    Can't get enough of that Volkswagen and Audi stuff...

    Looks like a cross between a Marcos, Bristol and TVR.

    Think I prefer the original car, aerodynamically inefficient in comparison or not.

     

    It's all about the twisties....
