    This is the Nissan 370Z Roadster, which was officially unveiled tonight, ahead of tomorrow's New York motor show.

    The convertible Nissan 370Z has an electrically powered soft-top rather than a folding hard-top, in order to keep weight down and reduce complexity.

    Nissan says the roof was designed with three aims: to provide a silhouette that matches the coupe's, to offer a roof that opens and closes at the push of a button and to keep wind turbulence to a minimum.

    In my opinion they have sorted the look of the rear end out nicely compared to the 350Z. The overall package now has a look of desirability.  Deserves to do well.

    That back end seems to work better on the convertible than the coupe. I'd love to see the Nizmo available here, but I'd guess the shocking exchange rate rules out personal imports at the moment, and it's likely to have a big premium over the standard car.

    Can't get enough of that Volkswagen and Audi stuff...
