  • Seat Ibiza Bocanegra on the way

    Seat will unveil a production version of the Bocanegra concept, based on the Ibiza Cupra, at the Barcelona motor show this May.

    Inspired by the Seat Bocanegra concept from the 2008 Geneva show, the Ibiza Bocanegra will be based on the new 178bhp 1.4 TSI Cupra model, but will add the striking black grille that dominated the concept car.

    I think they should include the LED headlamps in the styling pack. They look amazing and it'll be almost identical to the concept.

    It's certainly a good looking car.  Obviously the dash won't make it to production, but the rest of it is certainly fesable.

    I wonder if they'll maybe make the Bocanegra like a Cup version - tweaks to the suspension and ride height, bit less equipment (e.g. manual aircon instead of climate), bigger spoiler on the back..

    Probably just wishful thinking!
