HyundaiSmoke:Talk about Expensive, why do you Brits get ripped of
Not any more we don't. I am getting an economical plodding 1.9 150 bhp deisel Wagon on Friday for just £15,772. Climate Control, Cruise, Sat Nav, Auto dimming mirrors, Xenons, Bose Sound, mutli adjustable seats and steering wheel and 40 mpg fully loaded on the test drive.
I think I will miss the 300 bhp BMW in the week, but enjoy the comfort and fuel savings on my work travels. I don't fancy the "warmer" versions as they'll not be that sporty whatever the brochure claims.
Just think my £15,772 for a new BLS wagon isn't even going to get a basic Focus Estate.
I reckon this is one of the best value "New"Cars available today. A low spec 3 Series Touring would cost £10,000 more, and yes I've had a new shape 3 series - they're fantastic, but hardly good value when it comes to trade in time. I lost £14,500 in less than 12 months on mine.
The Cadillac may depreciate, but not by 90% in 12 months I bet.
