    The Russian owner of Dutch supercar manufacturer Spyker has survived an assassination attempt in Moscow.

    Alexander Antonov was wounded in the stomach and lost his finger in the attack, which happened last Wednesday. His condition is not said to be life-threatening.

    Is it a regulation that all small sports car companies have to be owned by Russian Oligarchs at the moment?

    I miss TVR, the Sagaris in particular was such an evil looking car...

    Now the cold war's done, I wonder if a new Bond film will revolve around the Russian motor industry?  There seems to be as much in the way murder, intrigue and general skulduggery as there ever was in the old days! 

    It's all about the twisties....

    18 rounds fired with 7 hits and he still didn't manage to kill him? That's rubbish assassin-ating!

    I guess Mr Antonov is lucky he doesn't live in the UK where he'd almost certainly have been left in a hospital side room to perish.
