Double world rally champion Marcus Gronholm is to make a shock return to the sport in a Subaru Impreza.

Gronholm, who won world titles with Peugeot in 2000 and 2002, has been an occasional visitor to WRC events since he retired from rallying at the end of 2007. He has concentrated on business interests and 'ambassador' work for his old team, Ford, although he has made sporadic appearances in rallycross.

I can't remember which rally it was, but I always remember Gronholm going round a hair-pin bend, spectators everywhere including hanging off a famous bridge, and to entertain them doing a 360 spin as well.   That to me summed him up, he was willing to entertain the crowds.   Pure class.

Anytime he's interview, he's straight to the point.   Honest, even if it's his own fault.   You can not help but to give praise to any sports man who's as decent as he is.   Respect.
