Mildly impressive - but you've obviously never seen what our local minicabbers can do with a front wheel drive Merc Vito!

Use to have an 03 Sprinter LWB pre ESP (unfortunately it was stolen) but controlable slides on some loose chippings were easily obtainable, am afraid with my disposition I never found them exactly fun! Now have a yellow flashing triangle in the speedo, so all that stuff is over.

Most definitely - used to take an 03 sprinter "off-roading" on gravel. At 55mph a sprinter does not react to steering inputs too quickly, but does spend most of its time sideways!

Were you bored in the office that day?

Okay then, here's a challenge for you.

Find a Mid 90's LDV van - a Sherpa if you like - powered by the 75bhp non turbo Peugeot lump, and with twin rear wheels.  Try and make that drift!

Drove one for nearly four years and only ever got it to drift once.

    It's all about the twisties....

My boss could get the 90bhp 03 lumps to drift on gravel and some lose road surfaces. Never dry. Handbrake turns though - more than possible. Despite the fact it was a 15 seater minibus, with 15 people...

Well, it made me chuckle. I can't remember the outcome - what was it causing the fires?

Come on now Sutters - that's no challenge!!

I used to work for LTI in the R&D department, and had a lot of playtime in the TX2.

Did you know the rear tyres are designed to last 100,000 miles? THAT'S why it drifts so easily - they're like plastic!

You don't even need a wet roundabout in the manual, but i concede that with the tragic 3sp auto it's needed.

More roll oversteer than power oversteer.
