"Contrary to some reports, Aston has not yet sold any One-77s. It has had 100 “expressions of interest” from potential buyers - but no money has changed hands for any of the examples."
- "some reports"? Don't be coy, it was you and your original scoop, Autocar:
http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/Aston-Martin-Concepts/235627/
"The One-77 is due to go on sale next year, although Aston has said all 77 planned for production are already sold."
That was on the 29th of October, less than a week ago. So what happened, between all "already sold" at £1.2m a pop and "no money has changed hands for any of the examples[at £1.02m]"?
Me thinks you jumped the gun, and embellished Dr Bez's words. Either that or in less than seven days 77 squillionaires have demanded their deposits back. Gee, the credit crunch must have gone nuclear around Gaydon way.
Come on, be big boys and just admit you got it wrong. Were determined for a scoop, but have overstepped and ended up with egg on your faces. Or are you going claim a breakdown in communication due to Dr Bez's non-native English? Lost in translation?
